Privacy and cookies
This page explains, without the usual runaround, what data we collect when you visit inforomartour.com and what we do with it. It is written to be understood, not to look long.

Who handles your data
Artour srl — Via del Colosseo 27, 00184 Rome (RM), Italy. VAT 14026671009.
Email: inforomartour@gmail.com · Phone: +39 331 489 1776.
For anything about this page, write to that address: a person answers, not a form.
What we collect, and only when
If you fill in the form on the Contact page we collect what you write: name, email, number of people, dates of your stay and the text of your message. We need them to reply and prepare a quote. Nothing else.
If you fill in nothing, the site collects no data about you. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no profile following you from page to page.
The server hosting the site records technical access data, as any server does (IP address, date and time, browser type). They keep the site running and protect it from abuse, and are not used to identify you.
Why we are allowed to
For the form data the legal basis is steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR): you write because you want information, and we answer.
For the technical server logs it is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
How long we keep them
Enquiries that do not turn into a booking are kept for as long as it takes to handle the exchange and a little beyond, in any case no longer than 24 months.
If you become a customer, the data that ends up on an invoice follows the legal terms for accounting records (10 years).
Who else sees them
The site is hosted by Netlify, which also handles form submissions and forwards the messages to us by email: it acts as a data processor. Transfers outside the European Union rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
The emails arrive in a Gmail mailbox provided by Google.
We do not sell, share or trade your data with anyone else.
Cookies: the site uses none
You will not find a cookie banner because none is needed: inforomartour.com sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. Fonts and all images are served by the site itself, not by external services.
The one exception is yours to decide, and is explained below.
The map and links to other sites
On the Contact page the Google map does not load by itself. In its place there is a box with a button: if you press it, and only then, the map is loaded from Google, which will receive your IP address and may set its own cookies. If you do not press it, nobody talks to Google. You can also open the address directly in Google Maps from the link next to it, with the same consequences.
Some buttons take you to third-party sites — WhatsApp, Airbnb, Viator, GetYourGuide, Tripadvisor, Instagram, Facebook. From that point on their privacy policy applies, not ours.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, receive it in a readable format or object to the processing. Write to inforomartour@gmail.com: no special form is needed, just ask.
If you think we are getting something wrong you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Two practical things
Please do not write data we do not need into the form: organising a tour requires no document numbers, no payment details and no health information.
The form is not meant to be filled in by children under 14 without the consent of whoever is responsible for them.
If this page changes
We update it when something changes on the site, and the date at the top says so. We make no retroactive changes: what applies to the data you already gave us is what was written when you gave it.
